Hi.

I love to take photos of gardens and focal points I’ve seen while walking and traveling. I share these ideas with homeowners to create unique gardens for them.

I’m inspired and can’t wait to create the garden of your dreams!

Stay hydrated, folks! This summer’s going to be a hot one! Your plants need an extra drink, too! Best to water in the early morning or later in the evening. It’s relaxing and gives us time to deadhead any buds, assess whether plants are getting enough water, or need a bit of a trim.

Also, it’s a good time to think about whether some plants would do better in shade or need more sun. Make sure when you transplant that the hole you’ve dug for the plant is deep enough, that you’ve added some water, maybe a bit of fertilizer. A well watered hole reduces shock, keeps the tender roots wet and allows the plant to adapt better to its new space.

Finally, while some plants don’t get watered enough, there is such a thing as over-watering. My beautiful tri-color sedum has bit the dust. Too much watering. Will see if I can transplant some sedum from another location, but may just have to rely on some end of summer sales and buy some more. Lessons learned for next year!

Happy gardening everyone!
