Hi.

I love to take photos of gardens and focal points I’ve seen while walking and traveling. I share these ideas with homeowners to create unique gardens for them.

I’m inspired and can’t wait to create the garden of your dreams!

It's thyme to trim, transplant and tuck in!

Chilly mornings, hot coffee, wrapped in a blanket. Feel a little energized? Change around those planters, for a different view, enjoy plants turning shades of red, orange and yellow. The weather grows cooler and the days become shorter. Light some candles or stoke a little fire and sip some wine…

After 30 years, it was thyme to build a new fence. Thank you, Keith! What to do where fencing stops short due to a wild cherry tree trunk? Plant some evergreen shrubs like skip laurels for a natural fence, privacy. This thyme of year is when nurseries have their best deals, hoping to clear out spring/summer inventory. Check out the 50% off on shrubs like laurels, rhododendrons at www.LaurelOak.net. Marlton, NJ. Great service and landscaping knowledge. Should I be worried that some of my arborvitae are shedding badly? Nope. They said it’s like a natural part of prepping for winter.

Dig your hole deeper and wider to allow the roots to find their place. Remember “Twice is nice”. Make the hole twice as deep/wide as the ball of the shrub. Tip: Mark the front of the shrub before you drop it in the hole-makes it easier to center it, show its best side! Fill hole with water before placing the shrub. Backfill with the dirt piled on a tarp, for easy clean up.

Adding more daylilies from other beds helped to hide those bare spots!

Hoping to add some pachysandra around the base of the sculpture above in the spring which will naturalize and fill in the remaining bare areas.
