About the gardener

Hello, my name is Lesley. My Granna spent hours in her garden. I often dug in the dirt alongside her, making bouquets from marigolds and pansies.

That thyme in the garden with her was magical! When I bought my house I played with ideas, moved plants around, learned more about which liked sun, which ones should be planted in groups, etc. And yes, I made plenty of mistakes along the way!

I plan to share what I’ve learned over the last 25 years, giving you insight into setting up a basic gardening tool box; how to create a woodland or shade garden; a sun garden around a focal point and ways to create privacy with shrubs, walkways and more.
